We are a Responsible Breeder located in Tampa, Florida. Lure Labradors is named from a vacation home in Lake Lure, NC.  Lake Lure is nestled amoung the Blue Ridge Mountains and National Geographic hails Lake Lure  as "one of the most beautiful man made lakes in the world".

Lure Labradors is dedicated to perpetuating the Labrador breed by producing quality Labradors from the best bloodlines the world has to offer. Our dogs are being titled in work and show, and have obtained passing health clearances prior to being considered for our breeding program.  Our puppies are home-raised and well socialized.  Lure Labradors  breeds for the total Labrador; a dog that embodies breed type, working ability, and sound temperament. We follow the Labrador Retriever Club's (AKC parent club of the Labrador Retriever) breed standard.

We believe people deserve to own the best quality companion they can. Our dogs are proven suitable for breeding through health clearances, show titles that demand structurally sound and well built dogs, and working titles that demonstrate consideration into true Labrador temperament.  Titles state that the dog earning them was not suitable only in their owner's mind, but the mind of Labrador professionals. All of our Labradors are American Kennel Club (AKC) registered and come with a full health guarantee.

Matt & Kathrine Chapman

Matt and Kathrine have owned Labradors most of their lives.  After the death of a companion Labrador (Darby) they purchased their first show Labrador in 2008, Int CH Chambray's Ruff Rider CGC (Trooper), with their children. Trooper is an excellent example of true Labrador temperament. He has working ability, confidence, and friendliness.

Matt and Kathrine began showing their dogs, Chambray's Ruff Rider and Chambrays Prissy Woman, in 2008. Since then, they have acquired other fantastic dogs to train with, show, and utilize in their breeding program. They travel to National, Regional, and Independent shows and events all over the country promoting and enjoying their dogs.  We look forward to seeing you at the next event.
